My name is Bettina Zuric, I took this in February 2011 at Little Cove Noosa. The girl in the picture is Salome, a French girl I scouted holidaying on the Sunshine Coast with her mother. I asked them if I could take a few photos of her. I love this as a summer photo because the faded, over exposed quality makes it look like someone’s (happy) memory or dream. I know I’m late but please, if you haven’t announced anything consider my submission! Thanks

Bali, December, 2011 - Mary Kelaher. The kind of sunset that creates summer romances. There is something truly euphoric about sharing a sunset with another person; to witness such a vulnerability in our natural world exposes beautiful vulnerabilities in others, stripping away all but a person’s soul.

Just South of Byron Bay, a large collection of people were all climbing the cliffs and trees to jump into the quarry. Kids, uni students, backpackers, even parents too.

This photo was taken in the St Kilda Botanical Gardens on Christmas day 2011. I love how it captures the gorgeous personalities of my family and is a little snippet of our perfect endless summer.
